Research

  • functional morphology of animals
  • phenotype-environment interactions of invertebrates and vertebrates
  • phenotypic (structural and functional) responses of the organism to changes in the environment

We integrate morphological and physiological approaches to gain a mechanistic understanding of phenotype changes in animals. The goal of this research program is to understand the organisms’ short term and long term responses to fluctuating environmental conditions.
